Are you sick of kids today thinking contemporary pop music is punk rock?

I mean a lot of kids think that Mcr, Fob, and Panic are punk. I like some of there music but I dont sit there and say how punk i am cause I listen to them. Dont they know what real punk is? Pistols, Misfits, Ramones, Social Distortion?
