If I deactivate my facebook do all my posts on friends walls get deleted? Or do they reappear if I reactivate?

I'm looking to go dark for a little bit but plan on coming back to facebook. I just want to make sure all my wall posts don't get deleted, for both ones I have written on other walls and the ones written on my own wall.
