Does anybody know what the chances of being approved by Kaiser for insurance with an existing medical issue?

If you have an existing medical condition, such as Gall Stones (which is a condition that is hereditary) and need to have your gall bladder removed, what are the chances of being approved by kaiser for coverage. Other than this issue this person is young (mid 20's) and healthy.
