Is iq hereditary?????????????

I have two stupid parents who quit school for work they only went up to 6th grade. And my parents are really bad at school related things but they are hard workers. I dint know if this is why im in special education cles im really bad at math but im very creative and good at making stories good with coming up with ideas and a good history student. But in math im in an Integrated cl the work looks so easy but i freeze up.
