Do you think that it's about time a Southern hemisphere nation had a chance to host the winter olympics?

First I can't think of a city in any southern country that has any big winter sports facilities. I can't think of any with a big ice hockey arena, curling venue, figure skating, long track speed skating. I can't even imagine having a Argentine hockey or curling team.
