Congested from smoking, or more?

i smoke a black&mild almost everyday, i dont smoke cigarrettes @ all. i also smoke maryjuana from time to time. lately ive been "sick" im not sure what it is, but ive been very congested for the past 4days, i cough alot @ nite, and lately wheezing follows the coughing, my throat itches sometimes as well, i havent smoked since this all started, i think im going to quit, but what could be wrong?
