Do you think hes interested still?

Ok, so im in high school, and there is this kid in the grade above mine who sits next to me in spanish cl-- we flirt a lot, and recently, maybe 3 weekends ago, we hooked up. I thought things might become on going, because where i go to school, if you hook up periodically, that eventually leads into a relationship and so forth, but he never texted or called to hang out after. We still remain spanish partners and we continue to flirt, if not more than we did before. there was a rumor going around that he was embarred about hu with me, and i confronted him about it, but he denied it profusely and seemed to really care about my feelings. We saw each other at a restaurant the other day and we waved we were both were our parents. He apologized today about not introducing himself to my mom. What does all of this mean? Do you think he wants to start up something but hes too scared or shy? does he just think of me as a friend?
