How can I AVOID viruses on Limewire?

If you have a mac the chances of getting a virus are almost non-existent, but it is (as is with ALL programs on any operating system) possible... I have used Limewire on my Windows PC and once I did get a virus, but running a strong anti-virus will most likely prevent this, but like i said before nothing is "virus-proof"
