Need Help with Logitech Mouse!!!?

I have had my cordless logitech mouse for just over a year now and its recently started acting really weird. Its really glitchy and disappears and reappears in different places. It moves really slow sometimes and I cant get it to do what I want it to. Batteries are full power and Ive tried pushing the on to connect the device over and over... I even tried unplugging it completely... no difference. Also downloaded the newest set point. Im at my wits end! Is there anything else I can try or do I just need to buy a new one??? Any help would be much appreciated.
