Please help.!!!!. i knocked over a candle on my moms bran new carpet....is their a way to get the wax out?

i knocked over a candle on my moms bran new carpet....is their a way to get the wax out without tearing up the carpet to much... I am in such trouble if i dont find anything..and she isnt in a good mood today!! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE help me...
