Why hasnt the public seen the dead body of osama?

Why hasnt the public seen the dead body of osama? if the american people spend billions of dollars of tax money looking for the man and all we get is officials saying they have done DNA testing and havnt even shown a picture of his dead body due to how gruesome it is that seems really unfair and unreasonable. They showed the hanging of saddam hussein and yet that wasnt to gruesome to show to the public at all? What are some of your answers on this situation?
