Yahoo and News censorship?

I am a Brit living in Germany who spent 10 years in/out of Australia,when I try and watch the video news,"this is not available in your area"is commented.How can we speak of censorship in China when this happens in the "west"? Internet censorship? any of you out there have these problems,i.e .UK-Au etc?
